OK Group THREE here is your depot to brainstorm and settle in on an idea for next Tuesday. I will sit with you on Monday and make sure it is all good, you should also plan on filming/creating the beginning and the end of your video on MONDAY.

I don't know about you guys but I was thinking as like an introduction a depressing video of the old ways of teaching and how they didn't care if students understood how to learn but then the quote can be something like "the students found their hero's in the new school of teaching" and each group can present on how they plan to help their students in their content areas if they are struggling.
I think thats a great idea. We can put all of the things we have learned to good use in the viedo. It will be good for everyone to see a variety of ways that content area teachers can get their ideas across.
I love this idea, Nick. My question is this: what should be our genre? Should this be like a public service announcement or a infomercial? I think we were required to have a genre...
I'm not sure how many of you will read this in time, but I have to be in Maryland on Tuesday for a final job interview with a district I have been interviewing with for over a month. This could very well lead to employment, so that has to be my first priority.
Would you all be willing to do this tomorrow instead of Tuesday? I'm also going to email Keith/discuss this with him in class. If he and/or you have a problem with doing it on Monday, then maybe I could just help the group out next week.
I apologize for the late notice, but I just found out about this yesterday and I haven't had much access to internet this weekend as I was out of town and dealing with some family issues. Thanks guys!
